EPL League's most cost-effective striker, Calvert Lewin

<Representative picture>

#1 Introduction

Today, we're going to look at who is the most cost-effective striker in the 20-21 season.
Kane is the top scorer in the 20-21 season, and everyone knows Son Heung-min finished fourth in the league with 17 goals.
So it's easy to think that Son Heung-min is a cost-effective player, but in fact, there is a player in the EPL league who has better cost-effectiveness than Son Heung-min.
My salary is low today, but I brought in a player who scored well. Let's take a look at who it is!

#2 EPL league, striker's annual salary

We used the Spotrac site to look at the annual salary of EPL League and strikers.
I chose Spotrac because it is a site where weekly salaries, salaries, and salaries of players after the transfer are being updated rapidly.
Cristiano Ronaldo topped the EPL league striker's annual salary, which was examined through this site, receiving £26,520,000.

<Figure 1> No. 1 salary in the EPL League in the 21-22 season, Cristiano Ronaldo

The most expensive striker after Cristiano Ronaldo is Jayden Sancho, who moved to Manchester United with him, with an annual salary of £18,200,000.

Romelo Lukaku was next in third place, Raheem Sterling in fourth place, and Timo Werner in fifth place.

Ranking Name of the club. Player's name. annual income(£)
1st Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo £26,520,000
2nd Manchester United Jadon Sancho £18,200,000
3rd Chelsea Romelu Lukaku £16,900,000
4th Manchester City Raheem Sterling £15,600,000
5th Chelsea Timo Werner £14,144,000
6th Arsenal Aubameyang £13,000,000
6th Manchester United Edinson Cavani £13,000,000
6th Manchester United Anthony Martial £13,000,000
9th Liverpool Mohamed Salah £10,400,000
9th Manchester United Marcus Rashford £10,400,000
9th Tottenham Harry Kane £10,400,000
... ... ... ...
14th Tottenham Son Heung-Min £7,280,000

Among the strikers, Tottenham's Harry Kane was tied for ninth, and Son Heung-min was tied for 14th.
Then, who scored the most in the last 20-21 season?

#3 EPL League scoring rankings and annual salary by player

As of the 20-21 season, we used a site called Goal.com to look at the EPL league scoring rankings.
The reason for choosing this site was that the player's name, club name, and score (goal) of the 20-21 season were summarized from 1st to 20th, and the aforementioned Spotrac site was used to examine the players' salaries.
Harry Kane was the player who scored the most in the EPL league in the 20-21 season.
Harry Kane played 35 games in the 20-21 season and scored 23 goals to proudly rank first.

<Figure 2> The top scorer in the ELP League in the 20-21 season, Harry Kane.

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah scored 22 goals, one goal behind Harry Kane, ranking second in the EPL 20-21 season.
Son Heung-min and Bampord tied for fourth after Mohamed Salah, while Dominic Calbert-Lewin ranked sixth.

Ranking Player's name. annual income(£) Score(goal)
1st Harry Kane £10,400,000 23
2nd Mohamed Salah £10,400,000 22
3rd Bruno Fernandes £8,022,857 18
4th Son Heung-Min £7,280,000 17
4th Patrick Bamford £1,820,000 17
6th Dominic Calvert-Lewin £1,248,000 16
7th Jamie Vardy £7,280,000 15
8th Ollie Watkins £3,900,000 14
9th Alexandre Lacazette £9,466,673 13
9th Elkay Gundogan £7,280,000 13

Then, who is the most cost-effective striker in the EPL League?

#4 The cost-effective striker of the EPL

I made my formula to look at the EPL league's cost-effective strikers.
The reason why the above top scorers have high salaries is that they are expected to be good at soccer and have high scoring skills soon.
Therefore, I dare to name each player as a cost-effective player if the value divided by the salary and score of each player is the smallest.
When that happened, the most cost-effective player turned out to be Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Dominic Calbert Riwin is a player who receives £78,000 per goal.

<Figure 3> The most cost-effective striker in the 20-21 season, Albert Lewin.

On the other hand, among the 10 players, Arsenal's Lacazette was the most expensive.

Lacazette received £9,466,673 and scored 13 goals, making him worth about £728206 per goal.

Wouldn't Son Heung-min be the most cost-effective player? I thought about it, but I don't think so, so it's a shame.

Ranking Player's name. annual income(£) / Score(goal)
1st Dominic Calvert-Lewin £78000
2nd Patrick Bamford £107059
3rd Ollie Watkins £278571
4th Son Heung-Min £428235
5th Bruno Fernandes £445714
6th Harry Kane £452174
7th Mohamed Salah £472727
8th Jamie Vardy £485333
9th Elkay Gundogan £560000
10th Alexandre Lacazette £728206

Then, let's take a look at what this player is like in the game, Everton's Calvert Lewin, known for his cost-effectiveness!

#5 Calvert-Lewin in the game

To look at Calvert-Lewin in the game, I used FIFA Online 4.
This game used FIFA Online 4 because the players of the 20-21 season were implemented according to actual soccer.
I'm not good at FIFA Online 4, but I'll write down how I felt while using Calvert-Lewin.

<Figure 4> Calvert Lewin of FIFA Online 4.

A new card has been released for him, but it's a pity that the performance is not good.

And he's fast and tall, but he doesn't seem to be in the game.

So I hope the game company will make him a better player.

<Figure 5> Calvert-Lewin's shot.

I'm a FIFA Online 4 user, but I'm terrible at it, so I competed with a computer (promising player).
Below is a collection of scenes of Calbert-Lewin scoring a goal.

As a result, he may be a cost-effective player in real soccer, but he still seems to be a very disappointing player in soccer games.
The new season's card is also poor, so it is regrettable.
Still, if you're rooting for Everton, I recommend you try Calvert Lewin at least once.

A summary of 3 lines!
1. Ronaldo is the most expensive striker.
2. Kane is the top scorer in the 20-21 season.
3. Calbert Lewin is the most cost-effective in the 20-21 season.

I'll be back with more interesting soccer information. Haha.
Thank you for reading it until the end.
